Is it ok for your partner to watch Porn?

This is such a controversial subject. It really depends on the types of people you are and the type of relationship you have together...

FOR: YOUR PARTNER WATCHING PORN

If you are both really open people and have quite an open relationship, then there's a chance you agree with the fairly unpopular opinion that says your partner should be allowed to watch porn when they're not with you.

There are so many cases of partners having to go away for a few weeks for work or for University etc, which means weeks go by without you both having any sex! Of course in that time it's likely you'll both want to masturbate and sometimes you need a stimulus to get you in the mood...

Yes, if you have pictures or videos of your partner then you shouldn't have to look any further for a stimulus - but if you DON'T have any, surely you should be able to go else where for your stimulus?

The thing is, the point of porn is to give people a stimulus - to turn them on. The actors/porn stars in the videos are what I just called them: ACTORS. Also, it's very unlikely your partner will ever ever ever meet these actors. It's even more unlikely that your partner will go and cheat on you with one of them.

Our team at XO have varied opinions on this matter but we all completely understand the AGAINST side, for example, the fact many people would class their partner watching porn as cheating. Let us know what you think!
