Love Island Weekly Round Up: Love Triangles and Broken Hearts

First things first, I personally welcome Ovie with open arms… and legs as I’m sure half of the female population, if not all, will strongly agree with me.

He has caused quite the stir in the villa between Jordan and Anna (no more sixth former age gap jokes). Anna’s heads all over the place, on one hand, she’s got her 6ft7 giant sexy man Ovie baby (ily). Then on the other hand, she’s got Jordan who makes her feel like she’s his age, 18. Sorry I had to throw that one in there, he’s 24 to set the record straight.

There’s the whole debate about is Anna just as wrong as Michael and Danny for recoupling and quite frankly I think she is. Anna was my favourite Islander for a while but this whole love triangle thing has really made me think twice.

The relationship between Jordan and Anna is like when you’re not allowed to be together, so you want to be together even more.

It’s exciting, its fresh, its… it’s a love triangle.

With Ovie, Anna is physically attracted to him there’s no doubt about that, but she keeps fooling herself by putting her age ahead of her heart. She stands by this whole thing of she should have found her husband by now, she’s nearing 29 and she isn’t married etc, I get it. But it’s not by force, just because Ovie is older does not mean he is the one for you, especially when there’s an obvious connection with Jordan.

There’s no rush, Anna babe!

As much as I hate to say it, I’m #TeamJordan, but I’d willingly console Ovie if he needs it. 😋

On the topic of love triangles… CURTIS AND AMY AND JOURDAN. Who could have seen that coming? Amy and Jourdan are completely opposite people, so maybe that’s why Curtis’s head was so strongly turned. He noticed things in Amy which Jourdan didn’t have vice versa and all he can think is ‘naughty naughty, you teasing me.’

That moment Curtis told Jourdan he liked her was like when that boy at school comes and tells you he fancies you but you’re seeing someone else (yeah me either). You saw his face drop and had to face the facts he’d have to go back to Amy in the main villa.

Well you know what, Karmas a bitch and now Amy Is gonna take some notes.

It’s rare for me to say I stand with Amy on something because I do find her very annoying but I’m standing with Amy right now. Prior to her recent reactions towards Curtis, I was certain she was going to leave the Island when he told her about Jourdan pieing him, but she handled it so well. She spoke her mind to Curtis without chocking or crying in front of him, which for me would have been impossible and I would have cried as soon as we sat down. That’s what you call brave, I’m impressed tbh. ( can we give her a round of applause 👏🏽).

However, I must say its only been 4 weeks and they’re treating it like he’s had an affair and 3 kids are involved. I beg the next people that come on the next series don’t couple up with the first person they see because this is what happens when you promise your head won’t be turned.

Now you need to file for divorce and sort out who will have custody of the kids.

Who’s TeamAmber?

Michael you done messed with the wrong one. I never thought we’d see Amber cry on the show and well done Michael, you broke a bad bitches heart. I reckon he recoupled with Joanna because he thought Amber would recouple and because she didn’t, he tried to come with this whole ‘blame her’ energy. I see through you.

The only thing I can defend Michael about is that it is Love Island as I just said, you’re supposed to play the game. The way Amber acted after the recoupling backed his points about her being immature and she didn’t do herself any favours there. I just wish she acted the bigger person in this situation.

How awkward was that lunch date with Joanna and Amber? I’m glad Joana spoke first, any more silence and you would have seen me running on screen screaming, “someone please just say something!’ Again, Amber proved her immaturity by laughing at Joanna who was trying to come to her ‘as a woman’ and im soooo gutted she did.

Hang on… Lucie fancies Tommy? Ahh shit, here we go again. He’s with Molly Mae you had your chance ffs. He keeps telling her he’s basically in love with Molly Mae and she keeps crying to him in hope he’ll change his mind, ain’t gonna happen. I wonder if she’d feel this way if Joe was still in the Villa?

And as for Anton,

speak to me babe, all jokes aside, are you ok?

Did the producers tell you ITV2 are in secret partnership with PornHub or is Bell holding you for ransom or is it just that you haven’t had this much access to a woman before?

But maybe I shouldn’t judge too tough because she has really taken role as mother and shaved his bum crack. Or shall I say 50k has a big part to play.

But to round up my round up,

Maura now fancies Curtis. Shocked and confused. In fact, no I’m not. That girl has her eyes on anything freshly single.

First Tommy, Danny, Tom and now Curtis, if we rewind back to when Maura was with Amy and said, “of course he doesn’t love you”, I’m starting to think that was a way to put Amy off Curtis so there was no chance they could get back together, meaning a freshly single Curtis would be back on the market. Tactical.
