With leading dance hits such as, 'I like it' to motivational songs such as, 'Get up 10' and 'Bodak Yellow' her music has been the ultimate bad bitch album.

Cardi B managed to incorporate latin inspired music, commercial and rap into one whole album and as a result her talent has been highlighted with a Grammy.

So other than being lyrically amazing, what else was it about Invasion of Privacy that made it do so well?

Cardi B, is more than relevant with 2018 being the year of 'energy', the year of sass, independence, friends with benefits, WCW and MCM's, and a year of confidence. The album flowed along nicely with the 2018 trends and her music will continue to this year.

Whether you are a stay at home mum who needs a pick me up, a girl going through a break up or a woman about to start a new job. Cardi's album has something for everyone.

Her creative flare and tone varied throughout with hard-hitting tunes such as, 'Bickenhead' to a much softer version of Cardi with songs such as 'Ring' featuring Kehlani and 'Thru Your Phone'.

Cardi B took us on a journey throughout the album talking about successes, break ups, love and life. Giving her audience tunes to belt out when they are sad ( 'Be careful with me' ) and songs to equally belt out when its time to rise up and be a boss. She has taught young women to step up and show up, to know their self-worth and to not cry over any man.

Her honesty and rawest self can be seen within the album and on her socials.

Cardi B has shown her audience there is nothing wrong with self-love through her songs, performances and interviews.

So a grammy? that is the least Cardi deserves.

Since being awarded, Cardi received a lot of hate which lead her to deactivate her Instagram account.

However, she is now back! follow @iamcardib
